Expanding Horizons: Empowering Women’s Wellness
I created Women’s Wellness Circle NZ, hosting Mini Retreats. These inclusive gatherings, which blended Yoga, Meditation, Tai Chi, and meaningful discussions on holistic well-being, offered a space for women to reconnect with themselves. Each session was designed to empower participants, allowing them to explore their own inner landscapes while cultivating a deeper sense of community. The magic of these retreats came alive in the shared stories, laughter, and tears, creating bonds and holding space for those that needed. The support of my loved ones, friends, and a community of like-minded souls made these retreats possible, creating a nurturing environment for growth and transformation. Together, we celebrated life, acknowledged our challenges, and embraced the beauty of vulnerability.
A Turning Point: Embracing Sustainable Yoga
In 2017, I embraced a pivotal step on my journey by becoming a full-time Yoga Teacher, after completing my 200-hour certification in Sustainable Yoga. This marked the beginning of my mission to share the transformative power of sustainable Yoga with my community and beyond. My approach to teaching is rooted in the principle that yoga should be accessible to everyone, honoring each individual’s unique journey and needs. This philosophy not only enriches my practice but also fosters an inclusive atmosphere where all participants feel welcome and empowered to explore their own limits.
The Franklin Breast Cancer Support Group
After completing my certification, I had the honour of introducing Sustainable Yoga to Shona, who connected me with The Franklin Breast Cancer Support Group. Over the next five years, I had the privilege of guiding this incredible group through Yoga and Meditation, fostering healing, connection, and growth. Each session became a sanctuary for those seeking solace and resilience, allowing them to reclaim their power amid life’s challenges. This deeply transformative experience remains one of my most treasured memories, and I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to be part of their journey. Witnessing their progress, strength, and determination has fueled my passion for healing and advocacy within my community.

As my journey continued, I was inspired to support other women, sharing my experiences and wisdom to help them thrive. This vision led to the creation of Women’s Wellness Circle NZ—a nurturing community that brings together a network of practitioners, holistic healers, and inspirational speakers. This circle serves as a space for empowerment, connection, and shared growth. Events are held regularly, offering workshops, talks, and collaborative experiences that inspire and uplift attendees.
